Seen many at the rally, questioning the vulcan club, after seeing our patches on our backs... they did not realize there was a Vulcan Organization. Passed along the web-site, may see new members

2nd was was a Kawasaki 900 LTD - headers, double roll sprocket & chain / flat black all over - not a speck of chrome except the bars - evil lookin' and went like hell!

Ride defensively. I've seen how others drive.

They were a good bike Jim.I would take mine for a good run, come home and tighten every nut and bolt one could find. I ordered all my parts from Nicholson Brothers in Winnipeg. AH the good old days.

also had the use of a BSA Rocket 3 and a Honda 750-4 while living out west way back when........
a buddy of mine got transferred overseas and needed a safe place to store his toys.
I remember the "Beeza" was a fun ride, but I also understand they were trouble-prone and high maintenance.  Didn't ride the Honda much, but sure had a nice sound from those 4 upswept pipes !!

As for the Norton,  I never had any problems with items coming loose. I had wired the pipes to the cyls.  I do recall my headlight going out several times when I went over a bump. Ah ....good ol' Lucas electrics !!!  lol   Man that was a fast bike and the sound !!!
The Kawi Mach 3 was definitely the fastest bike I ever rode. I think at the time they were claiming a 0-60 mph in the 3 sec. range. Probably marketing hype but it sure moved !!!
